CodeNPlay is a Belgian non-profit startup (startup-ASBL) that has existed for a little over 3 years with the mission of training primary school children and their teachers in technologies, robotics and computational thinking to make them critical citizens, actors and responsible for their future. We organize extracurricular activities and teacher trainings with appropriate support. The S-ASBL has already trained more than 1,000 children, initiated more than 5,000 and plans to double training efforts for children and teachers this year.


Role Description:

In this perspective of growth, we seek to strengthen ourselves with a coordinator experienced in the management of regular activities as well as one-off face-to-face events. Experience with online events is a plus but not necessary. The role will consist of coordinating extracurricular activities in the different schools as well as the training of teachers and the organization of some extracurricular activities (internships, occasional initiations, etc.). And this as well in terms of equipment, schedules and internal and external communication. The coordinator will be the central pillar of the organization of the various workshops and their logistical realization and will have a cross-functional role with all the members of the team.

Being a small structure, and teaching being key to what we do, the coordinator will also be expected to teach during a weekly activity. This will allow him to have a better understanding of our activities and a feedback on the reality of the environment.



  • Ensure the proper functioning of our extracurricular activities (in primary school), extracurricular (outside schools - children 7 to 12 years old) and training (primary teacher);

  • Implement internal and external organizational practices for our various activities;

  • Establish at each quarterly start the timetable for the various activities as well as the allocation of the necessary resources (animators,   replacements, equipment);

  • Maintain a material management system;

  • Organize one-off events such as Code Week (European coding event with many initiations in school) or certain initiations;

  • Work closely with the training manager to organize them;

  • Work closely with the French and Dutch-speaking growth manager to plan new schools and events to integrate and anticipate;

  • Work proactively with the rest of the team (leaders, marketing and communication, educational content, etc.) to coordinate activities 

  • Anticipate the needs for equipment or facilitators and work independently by managing a corresponding budget;

  • Create material packages for animators and schools;

  • Animate at least one weekly activity in a school (1h/week);

  • Ensure compliance with internal processes by other team members

  • The coordinator will also have the opportunity to flourish in other tasks that interest him if he wishes, as well as to train in certain subjects useful to his work.



  • No specific studies required;

  • Experience in project management, education or IT;

  • No notion of coding necessary but a logical and structured mind necessary;

  • Motivated, dynamic, proactive, rigorous and solution-oriented person, able to structure and thrive in a constantly changing environment. 

  • Driving license is a plus.

  • Languages: native French or Dutch (level) required and a good knowledge of the other language. English is a plus.
