CodeNPlay (CnP) and the Pulse Foundation (Pulse) join forces in the search for a rare pearl. In order to assist the two structures in their missions and growth, the two organizations are recruiting an Admin Manager, two days a week within CnP and one day a week within Pulse._cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

Description CodeNlay: 

 

CodeNPlay is a Belgian non-profit organization that has existed since 2017 and its mission is to train primary school children and their teachers in technology, robotics and computer thinking to make them critical citizens, actors. s and responsible for their future. The non-profit organization organizes extracurricular activities, training for teachers with support and progressive educational content. The non-profit organization promotes and encourages the insertion of these workshops in school programs to allow a lasting change in digital training for generations to come by proving the ability of schools and teachers to manage them independently as well as by creating a program adapted in constant improvement. 

The Startup-ASBL has already trained nearly 5,000 children, initiated more than 8,000 and plans to double training efforts for teachers and schools this year.

DescriptionPulse: 

 

The Pulse Foundation brings together several entrepreneurial families sharing a common vision: thanks to the job creation it generates, the value it creates, the innovation it facilitates, entrepreneurship is the answer to many societal challenges of today and tomorrow and the sine qua non of our prosperity.

The Foundation therefore aims to stimulate and promote entrepreneurial culture from an early age, to support each entrepreneur at any stage of their adventure and to make our Belgian ecosystem a model of success and excellence.

Concretely, Pulse operates through financial support granted to partners active on the issue, by creating internal projects responding to entrepreneurial challenges and through advocacy or awareness-raising actions in order to bring about systemic changes.

Responsibilities:  

  • Manage the payroll of the employees of the two non-profit organizations. This includes the monthly management of payments, the creation of new contracts, the closing of some and the management of special leaves (for example maternity, illness, …)

  • Manage the payroll of CodeNPlay animators under student contract. This includes the monthly management of payments, the creation and fairly frequent closing of new contracts.

  • Manage the expenses, receipts and periodic financial reports of subsidized projects as well as the relationship with the subsidizing organization (mainly Digital Belgium Skills Fund within the framework of CnP)

  • Propose and create solutions around human resources. For example the automation of certain tasks, the creation of certain processes or the suggestion of new methods or extralegal advantages, training and development paths.

  • Ensure a good welcome for new employees and facilitate their arrival within the organization (provision of tools, information on communication channels, etc.)

  • Manage payments to suppliers and monitor accounting

  • Update budget

 

Qualifications: 

  • No specific studies required;

  • Mastery of the office suite;

  • Mastery and affinity with remote collaboration tools;

  • Experience in managing similar tasks desired;

  • Autonomous person, able to structure and flourish in a constantly changing environment; 

  • Flexible person, able to move from one project to another;

  • Motivated, dynamic, proactive, rigorous and solution-oriented person;

  • Languages: native French or Dutch (level) required and a good knowledge of the other language. English is a plus; 

  • Knowledge of social networks (linkedin) is a plus; 

  • Half-time or 3/5th availability.
